I find using light purple/blue as a undertone works good for darker shades of skin tones.

Ehhhh, draw what you want, what's the big deal. it's your art, it isn't hurting anybody. If people don't like it they don't have to watch your channel. They can watch black artists instead if it matter that much.

The African Community comes in many shades so I dont find the term "black" offensive. I guess people when they see black they automatically think of a person my skin complexion when my boyfriend who is a banana color is black and also my father is light skin. But many people I know consider this complexion to be light not dark. But the African community haves a long ongoing issue of Colorism so I figured you would get back lash because there is always a debate who is black or who is dark or light. And none of that matters to me since I have a light skin father and boyfriend but some people would say they're not black but mixed. Colorism is really an issue just letting you know how deep it is.

her skin isn't dark in general, but she is darker than ur usual paintings !! ur explaination makes a lotta sense and i love that ur going outta ur way to paint other skin tones. i like how u even changed up the proportions of her face, like giving her a wider nose. Beautiful !

Don't worry about people blame you about the skin color of your human drawings, the only people who are consider this as an racist fact are the most racist people ('cause they see something than you don't see it).

For me, I like seeing differents skins colors with watercolor because ai want to learn how to do it, its just that xD. Yeah, I'm simple.

This is amazing!!! I love the colors that you used! For your first time drawing someone of a different ethnicity, you did really good!! I just have one question.

When you outline with microns, how long do you wait for the ink to dry? I tried using them with my watercolors once, and the ink started smudging. You reply would be greatly appreciated! Thank you, and once again, great job!!!
